Chris Kaelble Riding Instruction LLC. wants everyone to feel comfortable while learning and improving their skills at their own pace. We specialize in starting beginner riders from the ground up. We work all the way up to intermediate riders who are showing and jumping. Riding to us involves getting to know your horse both on and off. Riders learn to catch, groom and tack up the horse they are riding as well as help put them in or out when they are finished. We want riders to want to come out for extra time at the farm to just hang out and pet the horses. We don't just work with those who want to show but those who just want to relax and enjoy learning new skills.
Riding is a team sport with you and your horse in rhythm, and we work to help our riders find that connection. We remind our riders that our horses have minds of their own, and sometimes they don't want what we do so you have to be firm and take control. Our horses are not push button, so you learn to ride each horse and what works to become teammates.
The equestrian world isn't just about getting on a horse and making it do what you want it to do, there are all types of activities and knowledge that encompass it. At Chris Kaelble Riding Instruction, we try to give our students some of these experiences. We also go out and bring the experience of being able to pet or get on a horse to others, through pony rides, information booths, photo shoots etc. Attending and participating in local horse show events is another way that our students can test their skills and compete against others with similar skill levels.
To us Equestrian isn't just a fancy term for someone who rides or works with horses. but it's a way of life. Working with the horses, riding and teaching is where our passion is. Miss Chris wants to share her love and knowledge of horses and to assist in growing a complete horse person not just riders.
